It is with great sadness that the family of David Thorpe announces his passing on February 7, 2022, in Tampa. David was born on August 8, 1959, in Pontiac, Michigan. David was predeceased by his parents Willis Fay Thorpe and Lena Read Obituary
David was one of the best things that happened to our family. He has helped us all in numerous ways throughout the years and I cannot say enough about what a great person he was. He attended the closing of my home and patiently explained all the variables of the process. I was happy to have him there. His sarcastic wit would leave us laughing and wanting to hit him at the same time! I will miss his smiling face as he stands to kiss me hello when I walk into his home. I will remember and miss him sitting in his chair commenting on something or other. David will always be loved!
David was such a great guy! Unfortunately, we lost touch after law school, but he was in my first study group at Stetson! I know he will be missed by all who knew him.
