David Charles Lewis' Obituary
David Lewis was born December 15, 1965, in Baltimore, Maryland and passed away on March 21, 2025, in Ruskin, Florida. He was 59 years old.
David’s early years in Maryland were filled with adventure, joy, and the company of close friends and family. He had a happy childhood, one that was marked by his love for the outdoors and his free-spirited nature. David enjoyed the thrill of riding dirt bikes and exploring the world around him. Whether camping under the stars or enjoying the company of those he held dear, David’s life in Maryland was filled with cheerful moments and a sense of adventure that stayed with him throughout his life. He was an avid attendee of music festivals, where he made lifelong memories with friends sharing the experience of live performances.
David spent the final chapter of his life in Florida, where he met his loving wife, Rebecca. Together their love and deep connection to music defined the core of their relationship. A true "hippie at heart," David was a devoted Deadhead and a passionate guitar enthusiast. His music collection and love for attending concerts were a testament to his dedication to the art.
Both David and Rebecca shared a love for the beach—a place where they found peace together. Whether enjoying the sunset, searching for seashells, or listening to the calming sound of the waves, the beach was a sanctuary where their bond grew stronger. It was there that they made some of their most treasured memories.
David and Rebecca’s home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the gentle purring of their furry companions. Their cats were truly the heart of their world.
David is survived by his wife Rebecca & her family, stepdaughter Hollyann, brother Joey and sister Terry (Rob), nephew Michael Lorden, niece Hannah (Robbie), great nephews Austin, Benny, and Chase. Sister Marie (Mark), nephew Kyle and niece Kassidy.
