Mr. Daniel A. Pereda's Obituary
PEREDA, Daniel Albert, 60, a long-time Tampa resident, passed away June 10, 2011 in Sun City, FL. Danny was a member of the last graduating class of the old Thomas Jefferson High School. He attended the University of South Florida, later working as a chemist for Tampa Electric Company until his retirement. His fondness for animals continued throughout his life as he cherished each of the many pets he cared for. This was equaled by his devotion to Ybor City, where he lived when he came to Tampa as a young boy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Pereda and Virginia Rodriguez Pereda; and by his beloved wife of 15 years, Darlene Nina Pereda. He is survived by a brother, Roberto Pereda; a sister, Rosemary Lodato; aunts, Hortensia Reyes and Carmen Padron; cousins; Mary Louise Vazquez, Robert Padron, LeRoy Merkle, Cathy Kozij, Frank A. Reyes, Rosen Bridges, Albert Padron and many second cousins. A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011 between 5 and 7 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33603.
