Craig R. McNees of Tampa, Fl. Formerly of Sarasota, Fl. Passed away suddenly at his home on March 3rd 2020.
A celebration of life was held at his home with friends and family. Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Thonotosassa, Fl. On _______________ .
Craig was of avid collector of all things, he especially liked Asian collectibles, movies (thousands of movies) and movie memorabilia. Cooking was also a great love of his, family and friends always enjoyed the delicious meals he prepared. Being an amateur genealogist he grew his family tree to over 56,000 receiving and helping others from all over the world. He is a graduate of blue Ridge Community College with a degree in Business Management. Most of career was in sales insurance industry.
Craig Was born February 19, 1952 in Indianapolis, In. to Shirley A. Elder and James T. McNees then moved and was raised in Sarasota, Fl. He Married Christine A. McNees on pirate ship in Clearwater, Fl. Attended by family and friends on beautiful sunny day on April 3, 1999.(a substitute best man stepped in at the last moment) Don’t ask.
He is survived by his Wife Christine McNees, Granddaughter Emily K. Snyder, 2 Step daughters, 7 Step grandchildren and 15 Step great grandchildren.
Craig was proceeded in death by his parents and his daughter Dawn S. McNees.
