Cecil R Baptiste's Obituary
With deep love, we announce the passing of Cecil Rene Baptiste, a devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend, who passed away on May 18th, 2026. Cecil was born in Queens, NY, and built a life rooted in family, positivity, faith, intellect, and goodwill. He lived with a spirit that brought joy to those around him and a laugh that could fill any room.
He will be remembered for his quick humor, intelligence, generous heart, and the way he could light up a room by simply being present. He loved deeply and wholeheartedly that, even now, we can still feel that love. His support and advice, to not only me, his daughter, but to everyone fortunate enough to know him, were always thoughtful and encouraging. Making others believe they can do anything they set their minds to. His life is meant to be celebrated. We hope to carry forward the positive attitude, kindness, and strength he demonstrated throughout his life, as we know that is what he would have wanted. His light, love, and legacy will never be forgotten.
A service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on June 6th, 2026 from 2-4 PM at Boza and Roel Funeral Home. Family and friends are encouraged to share a favorite memory with Cecil or perform an act of kindness in his honor. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
