Carmen Luz Casar's Obituary
CASAR, Carmen Luz, passed away peacefully at home on November 16, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents Tomas and Luz Maria Santiago, brother Mel Santiago; daughters-in-law Dana Casar and Ellen Ross. Carmen is survived by Robert, her loving and devoted husband of 57 years; children Robert S. Casar (Nancy Lemke), Susan Casar and husband Bruce Bernadt, David Casar (Teresa Carney), Jennifer Figueroa; grandchildren Brielle Casar, Allison Casar, Jason Casar, Ariana Figueroa, Vaughn Figueroa, Matthew Carney; brothers Ruben Santiago and Thomas Santiago; sister-in-law Renate Santiago; extended family and friends. A visitation will be held from 6 pm – 8 pm, Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Boza and Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL 33603. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Incarnation Catholic Church, 5124 Gateway Drive, Tampa, FL 33615. Interment will follow at Centro Asturiano Cemetery, Tampa, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to El Centro Asturiano; LifePath Hospice; or Cystic Fibrosis Family Network of Stony Brook Children's Hospital, HSC-11-080, Stony Brook, NY 11794-8111.
