Carmelo Monteleone's Obituary
MONTELEONE, Carmelo, Sr, 86, passed away on July 19, 2023. Carmelo is survived by his wife; Mercedes Mera-Monteleone, son; Anthony Monteleone (Sara), Nephew; Richard Monteleone (Loretta), Niece; Donna Hernandez (Chuck) and numerous cousins.
He was a 1956 graduate of Jefferson High School and retired from Reynolds Metals can Plant after 30 years of service. He was an active member of the Northwest Tampa and The Town ‘N Country Optimist Club. He was also a member of the Lodge #1251 and on the adult board of the youth Baseball in Tampa for 20 years. His joy was working with kids, Traveling, dancing, and the Arts. He and his deceased wife Rose were honored by the naming of a youth baseball field at N.J. Pony baseball at Rome and Sligh Ave, in Tampa.
