Caridad J Diaz's Obituary
The Lord opened the heavens to welcome our beloved mother and grandmother, Caridad Juaquina Diaz (Morales-Perez) on April 9, 2022. She passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family, Hospice staff, and Garden of Time ALF staff.
Abuela or Weli as she was affectionately called, was born in Holguin, Cuba on August 16, 1939 migrating to the USA to become a lifelong resident of Tampa, FL and retired from Hillsborough County Public School District. Her faith and love in G-d was apparent in her way of life.
Caridad is survived by her Daughter and Son-in-law (Mireya and Benjamin Linsky); Son and Daughter-in-law (Juan Fernando and Christine I. Diaz); Grandkids (Maxwell G. Linsky, Gordon R. Linsky, Shaina M. Linsky, Jose F. Diaz, Lisette M. Diaz, Dakota G. Diaz, Jessica J. Diaz); Great-Grandkids (Ethan J. Diaz, Josiah E. Diaz, Jeremiah J. Diaz, Jayden E. Diaz, and Destini Meli.
Family and friends gravesite burial gathering will be on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 2 PM at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
In lieu of flowers, a simple random act of kindness will make a difference. Please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or LifePath Hospice of Central Hillsborough County, Tampa, FL.
