Bessie DiStefano LoScalzo's Obituary
LoScalzo, Bessie DiStefano, 86, of Brandon, FL went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2016 .She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Rose DiStefano and sister, Josie Palomino. She is survived by her husband, Vincent, sons, Joseph and Steve LaPerna (Denise), grandsons, Ryan and Stephen LaPerna, sister, Linda Unfried (Karl), brother, Henry DiStefano and loving sisters-in-law, Mary Piazza and Carmen Belluccia (Anthony) and many nieces and nephews. Bessie worked at the Supervisor of Elections for 22 years. She was a loving wife, mother, nanna, sister and friend and an amazing woman of Catholic faith. She was a parishioner of Nativity Catholic Church, Eucharistic Minister for 15 years, and also a member of the Nativity Prayer Group. Pallbearers include Ryan and Stephen LaPerna, Alfonso Belluccia, Angelo Piazza, Angelo LoScalzo and Joseph DiStefano. A Funeral Mass for the repose of Bessie's soul will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Nativity Catholic Church, 705 E. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL, Rev. Fr. John Tapp, Celebrant. Entombment will be at The Italian Club Mausoleum followed by a Celebration of Life at The Italian Club. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL.
