Beatrice A. Lorenzo, 76 years of age, of Tampa, Florida passed away peacefully in Tampa, Florida on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 12:17 pm. Beatrice was born on October 18, 1943 to Belisario and Zenaida Mascunana in New York City, New York.
Beatrice was one of the most unique people that you could ever know. It is impossible to describe the loving person, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend that she was in words. She was truly the Matriarch of her family. Beatrice was a giving, loving, and nurturing person who gave all of herself to everyone she loved and to anyone in need. She gave of herself to Las Damas del Centro Asturiano, loved hosting and helping with birthday parties, weddings, baby showers, doctor’s visits, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and anything that the people she loved needed or wanted. She gave to others with all the love she had to give, and more – wanting nothing in return. She loved sewing, baking, spending time at the beach, dancing, and most of all spending time with her family.
Beatrice is survived by her loving children - Michele (and Steve) Krupp, Belisario (and Shana) Lorenzo, Adrienne (and David) Castens, Chiara Covelli, and Elizabeth Pena. Grandchildren - Kyle, Gabrielle, Victoria, Victor Jr., Dominic, Nicole, Anthony, Brooke, Isabel, Giovanni, Haley, and Victor. Great-grandchildren Jordan, Naomi, Dash, Olivia, Natasha, and Natalia. Siblings – John. She was preceded in death by her husband and partner of 30 years Victor R. Cardoso I, her sons Victor II and Robert, and sister Estrella.
