Mr. Avelino Piniella's Obituary
PINIELLA, Avelino, 97, native of Tampa, passed away Monday, November 16, 2009. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years Geraldine Piniella, sister Alicia Cusmano and brother Pablo Piniella. He is survived by his daughter, Vivian Piniella Scarpa; grandson Marc J. Scarpa; granddaughter Shelby L. Scarpa; brother Gerardo Garcia and wife Adelaida; nephew Joe Cusmano and wife Toni. Mr. Piniella served in the US Navy and was a lifetime member of Centro Asturiano de Tampa. The family will receive friends for Visitation Thursday, November 19, 2009 between 6 and 8 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Burial services will be Private at Centro Asturiano Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Centro Asturiano Building Fund, 1913 North Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602.
