Antonio was born in Havana, Cuba on June 29, 1930 to his mother Justa Carmelina Alvarez and father Antonio P. Curbelo. He went to school in Cuba at Los Colegios Maristas de Cuba where he received his masters degree in Accounting. From there, he decided to pursue a hobby professionally and attended school at the Payret Theater to refine his skills for singing. In 1962 he moved to Tampa and worked at the Colombia Restaurant for 30 years as a Tenor of the shows. Antonio was proud to let everyone know of his love for singing. Especially in the the Ybor city area. His passion for arts and music never diminished.
