Angelo Ippolito's Obituary
IPPOLITO, Angelo D., 79, of Brandon passed away April 27, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dominick and Josephine Ippolito and brother, Dr. Steven Ippolito. Survivors include his loving wife, Grace M. Ippolito, sons, Manuel Ippolito and wife Carol, Michael Ippolito and wife Donna, brother, Charles Ippolito and wife Pearl, sister-in-law, Caren Ippolito, grandson, Christopher Michael Ippolito and several nieces and nephews. Angelo was a graduate of Hillsborough High School, received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Tampa, his Master's degree from the University of Mississippi and did a fellowship at Bowdoin College. He was a member of the Krewe of Sant 'Yago, the Italian Club and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Active pallbearers include: Christopher Michael Ippolito, Carlo, Stephen, Angelo and Michael Ippolito and Joe Muley III. Honorary pallbearers include: Gaspare Sam, Gaspar Dick, and Gaspar Joe Monte, Frank Vacanti, Dr. Felix Cannella, Vincent and John Di Salvo, Robert Cobb, Angelo Ippolito, David Pardue and Henry Mandese. A Catholic funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL 33603. Entombment will follow in the L'Unione Italiana Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home chapel. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in Angelo's memory to H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center.
