Angelo Caporice's Obituary
CAPORICE, Angelo, 96, of Tampa passed away Nov. 9, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Giovenco Caporice, brother, Sam Caporice, sisters, Lily and Angie Albano and Mary Ficarrotta. Mr. Caporice is survived by his son John A. Caporice. He was a member of the American Legion Post #5, Order Sons of Italy Nuova Sicilia Unita Lodge, and owned and operated L. Giovenco Grocery on Palm and Highland Ave. for over 35 years. A Funeral Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Msgr. Laurence Higgins, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. Active pallbearers include: Sam, John and Peter Albano, Nelson Caporice, Tony Alessi, Jr. and Kenneth Ferlita. Honorary pallbearers include: Dominic and Phillip Ficarrotta. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 PM with recitation of the Catholic Wake Rite at 7PM.
