Mrs. Angela C. Mormino's Obituary
Angela C. Mormino, 87, of Tampa, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 9th, 2015. Angela was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Angelo Mormino. Angela was surrounded by her family including her son, Jimmy Mormino and wife Cathy, daughters Giovanna Plazza and husband Stefano and Maria Lang and husband Michael. She was blessed with 7 wonderful grandchildren including; Angelo Mormino and wife Lauren, Cristina Jordan and husband Joe, Sergio Plazza, Melissa Chillura and fiancee Frank, Michael Mormino, Amanda Chillura and fiancee Brad and Giancarlo Plazza plus two great grandchildren, Britton and Zealand Mormino plus her sister Frances Nagel. Angela was born in St. Stefano Quisquina, Sicily where she lived until 1971. She moved to Chicago and eventually to Florida in 1979. Angela always enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed cooking delicious meals, gardening, sewing, shopping and visiting new places. The family will received friends from 6 to 9 PM and a Catholic Wake service will be recited at 8 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 6400 E. Chelsea St., Tampa, FL . Pallbearers include: Jimmy Mormino, Stefano Plazza, Michael Lang, Angelo Mormino, Sergio Plazza, Michael Mormino and Giancarlo Plazza. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome or donations to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., P. O. Box 96864, Washington, DC 20090 in Mrs. Angela C. Mormino's memory would be appreciated.
