Angela C. Babcock's Obituary
Angela C Babcock peacefully entered into rest on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 91. Born in the Bronx, New York, on June 3, 1933, she was the beloved daughter of the late Angelo and Delores Medico.
Angela was a devoted partner, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She found joy in reading, knitting, and staying informed on current events. Her love and dedication to her family were immeasurable, and her warmth and wisdom touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her sister, Lee, and her husband, Bob Longo; her sons, Ronald Medico, John Babcock, William Babcock, Victor Babcock, and Thomas Babcock, along with his wife, Arlene; and her daughter, Angelena Babcock.
Angela was a cherished grandmother to Angela, Ronald, Roy, Ricky, Samantha, Jennifer, Theresa, Stephanie, Marisol, Deanna, Shawn, Sheena, Sakura, Andrew, Justin, and James. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Kirsten, Trevor, Tyler, Dylan, Faith, Mark, Liam, Emery, Sophia, Ava, Brandon, Dakota, Kylie, Arianna, Anastasia, Natalie, Myla, Cheyenne, and Devon as well as a proud great-great-grandmother to Carter, Ariel, and Alana.
She was preceded in death by her life partner, Roy Cooper; her younger sister, Joannie; and her great-grandson, Corey.
Angela’s legacy of love, kindness, and family devotion will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
