Ana Maria Perez's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Ana Perez
With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of Ana Perez, who entered into eternal rest on July 24, 2026, at the age of 75.
Born on October 12, 1950, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, Ana was the beloved daughter of Antonio Ortiz and Ana Ortiz. She was proud of her Puerto Rican heritage and carried with her the warmth, resilience, and deep love of family that defined her life.
Ana spent her final days surrounded by family and friends who traveled from across the country to be by her side. They shared laughter, stories, music, prayers, and cherished memories—a beautiful reflection of the love she gave so freely throughout her life.
Ana had a remarkable gift for making everyone she met feel like family. She loved to sing, dance, bowl, and, most of all, spend time with those she loved. Whether hosting a gathering or simply enjoying a conversation, she made every moment special. Her kindness, joyful spirit, and generous heart touched countless lives and will never be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Ortiz.
Ana's greatest treasure was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Miguel (Mike) Perez; her beloved son, Nicholas (Nick) Valentin; her loving mother, Ana Ortiz; her sisters, Alicia (Carlos) and Elsa (Harry); her brothers, Orlando (Susan) and Tony; her stepchildren; her cherished grandchildren and godchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Ana is at peace. Her love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family will remain in our hearts forever.
"What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us."
— Helen Keller
