Amaro D. Silva's Obituary
Silva, Amaro D., age 64 of Tampa passed away May 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving Family. Born in Havana, Cuba and raised in Tampa, he was a dedicated son, father, grandfather and uncle. A well known businessman in West Tampa and the Cuban-American community, Amaro has worked at the family owned and operated business, Amaro's Body and Paint Shop for over 43 years. He is survived by his loving wife: Ada J. Silva; daughter: Marlene Silva-Collazo; son in law: Agustin; son: Alejandro Silva and daughter in law: Lisa; and grandchildren: Aiden, Giuliana, Mateo and Miguel. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and many personal friends. Amaro was a caring and kind soul who loved listening to music, traveling around the world and spending time with family, especially his grandkids. A Mass will be offered for the Repose of his Soul at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Cherry at MacDill), Wednesday, May 31st, at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow in Garden of Memories.
