Alice R. Oliva's Obituary
OLIVA, Alice Rivero of Tampa, was born December 2, 1919. Surrounded by loving family Alice was reunited with her husband Martin on October 31, 2011. She was born in Robert's City and lived her life in West Tampa. She is survived by her daughters Vivien Oliva, Beverly Oliva Vail and Mariana Oliva Mas, her grandchildren David M. Espinola, Denise M. Espinola, Allyson V. Hillard (David), Vanessa V. Jensen (David), great grandson Jacob Alexander Hillard and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Jose Cura for his kindness, love and respect in caring for our mother. We also appreciate the staff at St. Joseph's 4th floor North for their efforts on her behalf. Special thanks to Sharon Hillard and Delma Rodriguez for their devotion to our mother's care. The family will receive friends for visitation from 12 to 2pm Friday, November 4, 2011 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Avenue. Services will immediately follow at 2pm at the funeral home, followed by interment at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be, David Martin Espinola, Dr. Jose Cura, Manuel Alvarez, Gerald Giglia, Ruben Espinola, Beverly Oliva Vail, Vivien Alice Oliva, Jorge Valdes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to USF Foundation, Inc. for the Alice and Martin Oliva Endowed Latino Scholarship Fund # 666022.
