Dad, There’s no words to say how much I already miss you. You were always there for me in my highest and lowest moments. You were there when I graduated high school, when you walked me down the aisle and when I gave birth to my son. I appreciate you so much!! i’m going to miss you very much. Mr. Valdes, buddy, brought smiles as well as tools, Trigger as well as a trowel. A loyal friend and always willing to lend a hand, he showed up like a rainbow to help us with whatever we needed at home or beyond. I will miss having black beans and yellow rice with him, visiting the grove, and seeing his beautiful mother. During one of the 4th of July parties at Jackie’s ? Abuelito came up to me and asked if I wanted to see a baby monkey. Of course I said yes ! He walked me over to a container and said lift the lid that’s a baby monkey in there . I looked at him confused , but still , of course , lifted the lid. As soon as I did - it was an alligator ! I said that’s not a monkey that’s an alligator . Abuelito said “oh , se murio de monkey” and laughed so hard at his own joke 😂
