I met Tito and Jackie a year ago when their son Andrew had introduce me to them at the begin of our relationship. Till this day, I remember how nervous I was to meet them. I remember walking through the door and how sweet they both were, making sure I was comfortable in their home.
As I continued to visit them, Tito always made me feel so welcomed and wanted. I always enjoyed his funny stories, showing me pictures of his cars at work, or even simply telling me about his day. Tito company always felt warmed and inviting, not a single bad bone in his body.
Tito, I never got to tell you this, but I’ve only ever told Andrew. You were truly a father figure towards me. Not only were you there for your family, but you were also there for me too. I wished I could repay you for all that you have done for me within the past year. You truly welcomed me into your family with opened arms and I don’t think I’ll ever stumble upon someone as humbling as you were. As days continue after losing you, I see a little piece of you in Andrew everyday. You have honestly raised an amazing man and I thank you for that. Going over to the house will never be the same as we all continue to wait for you to come home from work. I’m going to miss your warmed welcoming smile, how you would peak into the kitchen to see what Andrew and I were making, the hugs you gave when I would arrive, or simply saying goodnight to you. Tito, I wished you knew how many lives you have impacted, because you sure impacted mine. I love you Tito, you’ll never be forgotten. I promise I will take care of Andrew and be his biggest support, I won’t let you down. Rest in peace, you’ll forever be missed.
