Adolph Frank Campisi's Obituary
CAMPISI, Adolph Frank, 84, native of Tampa passed away Sept. 27, 2012. Mr. Campisi was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Palma Campisi and brothers, Victor and Joe Campisi. Survivors include his devoted wife of 59 years, Jennie Campisi, daughter, Patti Hoppes (Tim),son, Frank J. Campisi (Leslie), grandchildren, Jennifer and Eric Hoppes and Joseph and Daniel Campisi, sisters, Frances LaRosa and Laura Buggica and many nieces and nephews.
Following in his father's footsteps, Adolph had a love of the produce business and was the original owner of the Airview Market on Columbus Drive.
He served in the U.S. Army, during the Korean conflict, stationed in Germany. Upon returning he married his wife Jennie, and together they owned and operated Jennies Flower Shop until their retirement. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, his family was his first priority. He loved life and lived it with gusto, enjoying travel, sports and casinos, sharing it with family and friends. He was a member of the Sons of Italy. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 PM on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave.
