Adolfo Murias, Age 90 was born August 10, 1929 in Ybor City to Domingo and Maria Murias. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Hilda Garcia Murias, his parents Domingo & Maria Murias and sister Alice Murias Gonzalez. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa and is survived by his son, Richard (Rick) Murias (Lori), daughters, Darlene Plasencia (Bert), Roxane Lozano (Manuel). Grandchildren: Jason Murias (Shianne) Chad Murias (Rachael), Giovanni Lozano (Alexandra), Erica Machado, Gianna Fernandez (Jose), Christopher Plasencia (Maria). Great grandchildren: Jada, Jaxon, Jaymeson, and Josef Murias, Noah and Lincoln Lozano, Roman Fernandez and Gabby Plasencia. God daughter, Joni Calhoun (Richard). Sister in law, Vilma Jordan and nieces, Cynthia Garcia, Melanie Coffman, Connie Angle and numerous great and great great nephews and nieces!
Adolfo Murias served in the US Airforce from 1948 to 1952 and was an aircraft bomber mechanic. After returning from the air force he continued his career as an auto mechanic until he retired in 1989. “Al” as he was called by his family and friends, enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and working around the house, as well as cooking for family gatherings. Al was a pillar of strength to his family and his wit, sense of humor and charm will forever be missed. We love you! The family will receive family and friends to celebrate Adolfo’s life at the home of his son Richard Murias (Address : 6412 N Woodlynne AveTampa, FL. 33514) All services will be held at Sunset Memorial FuneralHome
