Adelaida "Yayi" Granda's Obituary
Adelaida Granda “Yayi”
October 1938 - March 2025
In Heaven
You left me beautiful memories,
Your Love is still my guide,
And thought I cannot see you,
You are always by my side.
You love to live and enjoy good times when we went out for dinner and drinks. Your favorite was pineapple or chocolate Martinis. You were a great dancer, especially salsa. You showed both sons Ray (only surviving son) and Ricky (deceased 3/18/2025) the unconditional love you had for them, You loved your family dearly. Yayi was a great Mom, caring Daughter and amazing friend. Her smile and the way she always had her make-up, nails and hair done to look like a movie star. She was a very classy and elegant lady. Your great attitude from being born in Havana and raised in NYC was always unique in expressing how you felt and made it known to everyone this was your character so take it or leave it. You were so special to me (Michi), love you, Yayi. We all love you so much forever in our hearts.
Never Forgotten & Always in my Heart.
Love you Always till we meet again. God bless!!
