Robert and family, this is Arnold de la Cruz. We met a few times in the past, usually at a function for the Azan Family. Barbara, Teresa and I all went to school together. Please accept my most sincere sympathy. Barbara was a wonderful woman and a good friend.
She will be greatly missed.
With deepest sympathy, I write this memory in honor of Barbara. We met when I was 21 when I began working for Gabriel Properties and worked with her for 6 years. She had the best work ethic, always mentoring, always gentle in her words with me, but firey and held her own opinions whether you agreed or not. It was exactly the type of mentor a young woman could look up to and love. Robert and Barbara had an unconditional love and the love for her daughters was beautiful to witness, truly someone to aspire to be like.
In 19 years of knowing her, she has never missed saying happy birthday to me and always reached out to congratulate me on different accomplishments through the years.

I met Barbara 8 years ago and her beautiful spirit was immediately evident. She introduced me to Dr. Arslen and she pioneered treatment for CCSVI in Florida. She will always be remembered in the MS community as a hero and her children should be very proud of her. Barbara is so loved by so many and will be missed by all. Dance with the angels my friend.
