Madeline Garcia Moreda, 85, of Tampa, passed away October 26th, 2020 surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer. She graduated from Jefferson High School, 1954 and obtained her Music Teaching Certificate at the Sherwood Music School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando Garcia and Josefina Fernandez Garcia; her loving and devoted husband Joseph Jr.; her sisters; Delores Howell, Violet Moore. She is survived by her four sons, Joseph III (Denice), David (Lori), Chris (Athena), Michael; sister, Pearl Scionti; grand-daughters, Danielle and Jacqueline; and many other family members and friends. She loved spending time with her family and especially shopping with her granddaughters. She was multi-talented and pursued her varied interest with great passion. She was an accomplished pianist and used her talent for teaching piano to inspire others with the gift of music. She retired from Sears with over 20 years of service and was honored with several top-sellers awards. She was an incredible cook who could prepare the best tasting meals while balancing the demands of a family and work. She loved fitness and taught aerobics for the City of Tampa Recreation Department for many years. She was beautiful on inside and out with a kind and gentle soul and always reminded others of how much she loved them. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 10:00am. Father Dan Kayajan will celebrate the funeral Mass. Followed by a private interment at Centro Español Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
