Lucille Elizabeth (Valli) Baker went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2022, at the age of 95 in Tampa, Florida. Born March 23, 1927, in Hyannis, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Ansel Abel Valli, Sr. and Sarah Agnes Gill. She enjoyed serving and donating to the community, she was a volunteer for St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary and the Lupus Foundation for many years. Her favorite pastimes were gardening, tea parties, and taking in the sounds and beauty of the sea. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters: Virginia Fauquier, Barbara Souther, Lois Atwood, Marilyn Dyer and Althea Stetson, her 3 brothers: Ansel (Buster) Valli, Jr., Edward Maker and Charles Valli and her son: Gary Baker. She is survived by her 2 brothers: Eugene and Sherburne Valli; her son Steven (Ruth Anne) Baker and daughter Kathleen (Vincent) Capitano; Her grandchildren; Michelle Baker, Sandy (Mark) Buckner, Natalie Capitano, Ashley Matthews, Josh Baker (Linda) and Elly Baker; Her great grandchildren; Curtis Baker (Courtney), Connor Baker, Katherine and Brock Buckner, Zayden Matthews, Rynlie and Rilyn Hansen Capitano; Her great-great grandchildren; Evelyn and Maddox Baker; her lifetime best friend; Peggy Rizzotto and forever family members; Carol Baker, Julie Lubbers and Sarah Beth Ramey . The service will be held on July 11th at 3pm at Boza and Roel Funeral Home on 4730 N. Armenia Avenue in Tampa, 33603. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at her request.
